Haifa on my mind, ink jet auf Papier / Leinwand, B.90 cm x H.11,8 cm, 1998.
Die Stadt Haifa liegt am Mittelmeer. Dort bin ich geboren. Obwohl ich schon einige Jahre in Deutschland (Leipzig) lebe, kehre ich in meinen Gedanken oft zu meiner lieben Stadt zurück. In diesem Bild wollte ich die Atmosphäre der Räume meiner alten Wohnung und das Meer - dass ich und meine Familie immer ansehen konnte - wiedergeben.

The city Haifa layes in the Mediterranean. I was born there. Althought I live for some years now in Germany (Leipzig),
I travel in my mind to my beloved little city. In this painting I tried to capture the atmospher of the rooms in my old home and the sea which I and my family could always watch.
